You agree, through your use of the discussion forums, that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.
You agree, through your use of the discussion forums, not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or the Tertiary Education Commission.
You agree, through your use of the discussion forums, not to post advertising of any kind in the Forums, whether you are a private party or company.
We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
Posts should be:
Respectful: respect differing views even if you disagree. Refrain from personal attacks, abusive language or inappropriate comments.
Professional: forum messages will be public for at least as long as this forum is online. Post carefully and with consideration to the content of the post.
Inclusive: these forums are to be used to grow and share the knowledge and skills of literacy and numeracy, and to discuss relevant issues with others in the profession.
Posts that do not follow these guidelines will be edited or deleted.
